What Is Spinlab? The 360° Product Viewer Built for Shopify

Spinlab is a Shopify app that turns a 360° product video into an interactive spin viewer. Instead of a handful of static photos, shoppers can drag, swipe, or scroll to rotate a product and inspect it from every angle - just like picking it up in a store.

You upload one video of your product rotating through a full 360°, and Spinlab automatically extracts frames, optimizes them, and builds a smooth, responsive viewer that drops straight into your product page.

Online shoppers can't touch, turn, or examine a product before buying - the biggest disadvantage ecommerce has against a physical store. Static photos only show a few fixed angles, which leaves gaps in what a customer actually gets to see.

A 360° spin viewer closes that gap. Shoppers can check stitching, texture, hardware, or fit from angles a product photographer might never have shot, which builds confidence and can reduce hesitation, questions, and returns driven by "it didn't look like the photos."

Install Spinlab from the Shopify App Store and connect it to your store in a couple of clicks. From your dashboard, upload a spin video for any product - ideally shot against a clean background with even lighting as the product rotates a full 360°.

Spinlab processes the video automatically, extracting and optimizing frames into a lightweight interactive viewer. Once processing finishes, you add a small snippet to your product template through the Shopify Theme Editor, and the 360° viewer goes live on that product page.
