Quick Start Guide

Spinlab lets you add beautiful 360° product spin viewers to your store in minutes. This guide walks you through everything you need to go live.

Before you begin, make sure you have the Spinlab app installed from the Shopify App Store and have uploaded at least one spin video for a product.

Open your Shopify admin and navigate to Apps → Spinlab: Interactive 360° view. Click Install and grant the required permissions. You will be redirected back to the Spinlab dashboard once installation is complete.

From the dashboard, copy your unique Store Key shown in the Essentials panel. This key is used to link your Shopify product images to the spin viewer engine.

Go to Products, upload your spin video using Upload Spin, and once it succeeds, click the product title to open its detail drawer, then click Open Full Spin Viewer to preview the 360° experience.

Open your Shopify Theme Editor and use the top dropdown next to the theme name to switch to a product page template.

In the left sidebar, click on "Product information" - or whatever section wraps the gallery and details in your theme, as the name varies slightly - to expand it.

Scroll down inside that expanded section's block list (Price, Variant picker, Buy buttons, etc.) until you see "Add block".

Click Add block - an app-icon category (often labeled "Apps") will appear in the picker - then select Spinlab 360° Viewer.

The block is now in the list. Drag it up or down to position it wherever you want relative to the price or description. It will render as its own iframe box sitting alongside the gallery - not as a swipeable slide inside the image carousel (the carousel is the section's built-in image renderer, not a block list, so it isn't reachable through Add block).

Visit your store to confirm the viewer is live. If the spin still isn't showing on your store, please contact our support team at support@tricolens.com.
