Connecting Your Store
How the Connection Works
Spinlab securely connects to your Shopify store using Shopify's OAuth authentication. During installation, Shopify grants Spinlab the necessary permissions to access your products, allowing the app to automatically create and manage your 360° spin sets.
All data is transmitted securely over HTTPS, and your store credentials are never stored in plain text. Your data remains protected using industry-standard security practices.
Your Store Key
Every Spinlab store is assigned a unique Store Key that securely identifies your store within the platform. You can find your Store Key in the Essentials panel on your dashboard.
Treat your Store Key like a password. Keep it private and never share it publicly or include it in your code, repositories, or version control. If you believe your Store Key has been exposed or compromised, contact the Spinlab support team immediately, and we'll generate a new key for your store.
Reconnecting After Uninstalling
If you uninstall and reinstall Spinlab, a new app session is created and your Store Key changes. Your existing spin sets are safely retained for 10 days after uninstallation.
To reconnect your existing spin sets to your new Store Key, please contact Support Team. We'll securely relink your data so you can continue where you left off.
Permissions Required
Spinlab requires read_products, write_products, and read_locations permissions to securely sync your products, manage 360° spin data, and enable app functionality within your Shopify store.
